About us
Società Melodrammatica Internationale operates in the field of promoting and producing opera productions and co-productions. It was founded by a management team with over 40 years of experience in various areas of opera and ballet theater production.
The results achieved in the opera field include numerous major productions and co-productions made possible by the Società Melodrammatica Internationale, which has connected leading theaters with others interested in co-production or simple collaboration, both in Europe and Japan. In many cases, it has overseen the entire artistic project, including the creation of sets, costumes, and more.
The operas already staged can be revived at any time, as the International Melodramatic Society, in agreement with co-producing theaters, can provide not only the sets but also the entire artistic ensemble.
All of our Operas, weather already made or in the making, are showcased through photographs and mentions of the Theatres in which they were performed.
Each opera production, completed or upcoming, is presented in detail with photographic materials and includes information on the theaters involved.
Through specific agreements, it is also possible to rent only the sets (scenery, costumes, props, accessories), depending on availability from both the co-producing theaters and the Società Melodrammatica Internazionale for its own productions.
In a dedicated section, it's possoble to view ongoing projects open to collaboration or co-production.
